Nike was first called Blue Ribbon sports when it was first founded. 8 years later, Nike signed its first endorsement with the romanian tennis player, ILie Nastase. 6 years later, Nike completed the IPO with a price of 18c per share. Skipping a few decades, Nike opens their first store in Portland Oregon. Over the years, Nike has targeted popular and rising athletes.
